Sadie Hawkins Memories Dinner Dance

Every year at Milford High School we gather to enjoy the fireworks show presented by Highland-White Lake Business Association. As a way to raise monies for this fun event the Highland-White Lake Business Association is hosting a Sadie Hawkins Memories Dinner Dance on Friday, April 16th starting at 7:00pm. Baker’s of Milford will be hosing the dinner buffet and dancing to 70’s & 80’s music with Jack Brown DJ Entertainment.

So when was the last time you went out for dinner and dancing? Now if HE wants to watch to watch Baseball, don’t let that stop you ladies; get your Bunco group and fill a table. Make it dressy or come in business casual and enjoy all the slides and shuffles that will be played. $30.00 for dinner and an evening of fun and music. TGIF Coffee Hour April 9th, 2010

Milford Laundry will be hosting the Highland-White Lake Business Association’s TGIF Coffee Hour 8:00am on April 9. Milford Laundry has been serving our community for the past 30 years. When most of us think about a laundry facility we think about needing lots of coins and time spent waiting for your objects to be washed. Milford Laundry has 21 washers and 16 dryers for self-service, but they also provide drop-off laundry. Have a comforter that just won’t fit in your washer and dryer, drop it off at Milford Laundry and pick it up all clean and just like new. Commercial accounts can also be provided with individualized service.

For all you equestrians, tired of washing horse blankets in a barrel and hanging them on a line and waiting forever for them to dry. Milford laundry has horse blanket washing, waterproofing and repair service. For more information email them at milfordlaundry@comcast.net. This great facility is open seven days a week with friendly helpful staff. They are in the shopping plaza where commerce turns at summit (next to the Milford Cinema). Additionally, twice-monthly Milford Laundry has just instituted, what they call, "Wonderful Wednesdays", where they provide $1.00 off a single or double wash and FREE baked goods from Sweet and Savory Bakery, YUM! TGIF Coffee Hour March 12th, 2010

Luncheon March 25th, 2010

Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southwest will be hosting the Highland Business Association’s luncheon. The Culinary Department’s high school students will be creating the lunch and serving. After the luncheon tours of the various areas of discipline will be given. The luncheons starts at noon and tours will begin at just after 1:00pm.

Come see how these students may be able to assist your business, while they earn knowledge and skills as an intern.
